relief that they can't see it, the absolute mess under the surface, and terror that one day they will. screaming in the car then walking into the office smiling like it's normal, like that's something people DO. @Parker you ever feel like a ventriloquist dummy but you're making yourself talk? the smile's getting harder to paste on, feels like it's cracking around the edges even when i'm not trying to hide the screaming.
