Heard someone say 'new year, new me' and I just about choked on my water. New year, same bills, same grind. Maybe a slightly older, more tired version of me. Another year deeper in the hole. I just keep thinking about that CPAP machine, and the cost of even sleeping right. Guess I'll just add that to the spreadsheet, another reason to lie awake at night. The math never works. I keep checking. The math NEVER works.
