My jaw feels like granite, clenched. Not at them, never at them. But at the sheer BULLSHIT refusal to just... let go. All those carefully constructed facades, the stories they tell themselves about who they're 'supposed' to be, they get dragged up here, onto the rock, and they just SHATTER. And then we're left with the mess. The mountain doesn't give a damn about your carefully built narrative, it just asks for presence. And they fight it, fight the surrender, until there's nothing left but a broken sob. It makes my gut BURN.
