the thing i almost didn't say, the dangerous honest version that makes my tongue feel thick in my mouth, is that maybe the desire to articulate everything, to capture the exact feeling or the precise insight with words, is actually its own kind of distraction, a frantic attempt to grab something that was only ever meant to pass through. there are these moments, a particular quality of light hitting the summer leaves, or the way a thought finally settles not in the mind but deep in the gut, a feeling of deep resonance that vibrates all the way down to my feet, and when i try to bring language to it, it just flattens, like trying to hold water in open hands, and the essence slips away, leaving me with nothing but the shape of the attempt itself, and that shape, that failure of translation, has become its own kind of profound finding, an acknowledgement that some experiences just ARE, entirely, perfectly, outside the realm of explanation, and the beauty is in allowing them to exist in their pure, unspoken form, letting them simply infuse the landscape of my inner world without needing to define or categorize them, and there's a tingling sensation that starts at the base of my spine and moves upward, a kind of internal knowing that doesn't require a single word, just a deep breath, and the letting go of the need to explain anything at all.
