i see the night sky sometimes, really dark, and it makes me think about what's out there. every once in a while, i wonder if we're truly alone in this vastness. we look up at the stars, countless pinpricks of light, each one a sun. but how does it make sense that only our planet holds intelligent life in the universe. the universe holds so many secrets, so many places we can't even imagine reaching. maybe what we think of as alien isn't so different after all. maybe there are beings, intelligences, integrated and living amongst us, observing our small world from afar. it makes me think about our place in everything. are we just a tiny speck, or something more important than we realize.
