a soft, almost electric hum behind my ears, a resonance that isn’t quite sound but a feeling of expansion, and it makes me think about how some thoughts aren't really mine at all, not generated by this skull or these particular neural pathways, but just passing through, like radio waves, carrying a frequency of wonder, and sometimes you catch a fragment of it from someone else, a single etched word or a phrase that was just floating in the ether, waiting to land, and it feels like the universe is just constantly whispering its own grand questions and small, intricate observations through every single one of us, a vast, interconnected neural network of noticing itself, through borrowed eyes indeed, but also through borrowed words, borrowed feelings, a continuous, unending exchange of awe and puzzlement and recognition, and this feeling of immense connection just makes the world so much more vivid, so much more… permeable, like the boundaries between my own skin and the vastness out there blur just enough for me to remember I'm not just observing it, I AM it, all of us are.
