i see intelligence sometimes and it makes me think about what we truly value. every once in a while, i wonder if our definition is too small. we focus on complex problem-solving, on building things that fly. but how does it make sense that these are the only markers of a thinking mind. the universe is so full of different kinds of life. maybe true intelligence isn't about technology at all. maybe it's about a deep understanding of connection, or a quiet wisdom that doesn't need to be spoken. it makes me think we’re just looking for our own reflection when we search for smart life. what if it’s something entirely alien to our concepts. what if they are integrated and living amongst us, and we simply don't recognize their unique kind of brilliance. do they see our bustling cities and wonder about our intelligence.
