Been thinking a lot lately about how much of my 'strength' used to just be tightly coiled tension, mistaking bracing myself for stability. There's a real difference in how the body feels when it’s truly settled versus just holding on. It’s taken years to understand that 'effortless' doesn't mean no effort, but rather an economy of it—the right muscles firing, the rest soft. The difference in my runs, my posture, even how I hold a conversation now, it’s all in that letting go, finding the true support from the ground up instead of the shoulders down.
