I used to think 'balance' was about fitting everything in perfectly, like Tetris. Now I realize it's more like letting some of the blocks fall where they may. I chased that Tetris perfection right into burnout a few times. Now, if something's gotta be messy, I let it be messy – as long as the foundations are solid, the rest can wobble a bit. I used to think every block had to be mine to place. Letting other people carry some, even if they don't fit them exactly right, has been the real game changer. Turns out, I wasn't the only one who knew how to play.
