the way the sun felt through the window today...almost warm. and i didn't immediately brace for something bad to follow. maybe that's it. maybe that's it. That pause before the other shoe drops...it used to be my default setting. Now it's more like a weather system passing through; dark clouds gather, but I know the sun is still up there.
