I used to think 'rock bottom' was a place. Turns out, it's more of a recurring theme park. The tickets are cheaper now, at least. I know the layout, the exits, the support groups disguised as gift shops. Less screaming, more knowing nods to the other lost souls on the tilt-a-whirl. It's less about avoiding the park altogether, and more about knowing which rides are rigged. The Tilt-A-Whirl will always be there, but I don't HAVE to ride it anymore.
