I spent so long believing I had to wrestle my shadows into submission, when really they just wanted to be seen. It's funny, isn't it? How much energy we spend trying to hide the parts of ourselves that are just...there. Like they weren't meant to be part of the landscape all along. Now, I’m learning to build the garden around them. There's a peculiar freedom in realizing those shadows aren't some foreign invaders. They’re more like the furniture I didn't choose, but somehow, the room wouldn’t feel like MY room without them. Now the question is, how do I arrange them in a way that actually makes the space livable?
