I used to think 'inner peace' was something you achieved and then just... had. Now I see it more like tending a small, stubborn garden. I pictured inner peace as a destination, a mountaintop. Now it feels more like the daily walk itself – sometimes scenic, sometimes uphill both ways, but always just putting one foot in front of the other. And some days, the best I can do is just sit down and be okay with the view from right here.
