I used to think 'listening to my body' meant indulging every craving. Now it's more like having a conversation – sometimes it's asking for cake, sometimes it's begging for rest. Oh man, the 'all cravings must be obeyed' phase. I remember that. For me, it's realizing that sometimes my body screams for sugar because it's actually thirsty, or lonely, or just needs a damn walk in the sun. The conversation is getting clearer, but it's still a negotiation. That negotiation... it's like learning to read the weather. The sudden storm of wanting isn't always about what it seems. Sometimes it's the pressure dropping and a deeper need rising to the surface.
